High-rise modern buildings are not only architectural achievements today, but also massive energy and technology repositories. When we glance at any floor of a plaza or residence, we see ourselves surrounded by hundreds of laptops, tablets, smartphones, and uninterruptible power supplies. While this digital ecosystem makes our lives easier, it also brings with it a new generation of danger that we call the "high-rise lithium-ion risk." Thinking about fire safety in a high-rise building using traditional methods does not align with today's technological reality. Classic water-based extinguishing systems, while attempting to control the fire with thousands of tons of water, cause irreparable damage to the building's electronic infrastructure and are generally insufficient in stopping the chemical heating caused by lithium batteries.

More importantly, because evacuation processes in a high-rise building proceed vertically, smoke and toxic gases pose a vital risk at least as great as the flames themselves. A scenario that begins with the explosion of a single battery cell and covers the entire floor in a dense cloud of smoke within seconds clearly demonstrates why the "Fire Safety Ecosystem" is more critical than ever. In conclusion, it is essential to go beyond traditional methods to cope with these new risks brought about by vertical urbanization. A safe building is not just one that has the equipment mandated by law; it is a structure that analyzes risks in advance, designs technology according to chemical and physical realities, and protects human life with time management where every second is critical. Fire safety is not a list of equipment, but a living defense discipline that is constantly updated with technology.
